NAC is a precursor to the amino acid cysteine, which ultimately plays two key metabolic roles. Through its metabolic contribution to glutathione production, cysteine participates in the general antioxidant activities of the body. Through its role as a modulator of the glutamatergic system, cysteine influences the reward-reinforcement pathway. In this way NAC may well offer promise in issues such as OCD hair pulling and nail biting and possibly more prevalent addictive behaviours.

NAC+ Veg Caps from Viridian Nutrition offers a combination of NAC (N-acetyl cysteine), Chromium, L-Glutamine and Cinnamon. The accessory elements in this formula - Chromium, L-Glutamine and Cinnamon - offer supportive actions to NAC. Chromium and Cinnamon have applications in blood-sugar balance. 

In a base of alfalfa, spirulina and bilberry.

As a food supplement, take two to four capsules daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
