Spatone Apple Liquid Iron Supplement Sachets

One sachet of Spatone Apple can provide you with your recommended daily amount (RDA) of iron and Vitamin C, well-known for its ability to increase the absorption of iron.

Vitamin C contributes to a healthy immune and nervous system whilst also supporting our energy metabolism thus reducing tiredness and fatigue.

Spatone Apple combines 100% natural iron rich water with a delicious apple taste and added vitamin C, which aids the absorption of iron from non-meat sources.

Spatone Liquid Iron Supplement is ideally taken diluted in orange juice in the morning on an empty stomach or in between meals.

It is advisable to leave a 30 - 45min gap between the consumption of iron supplements and the consumption of drinks such as e.g. tea, coffee or red wine and food.

Vitamin C (e.g. in a glass of orange juice) is well recognised to improve the body's ability to absorb iron. If you can’t tolerate orange juice try apple, mango, pineapple, or tomato juice; all rich in Vitamin C but low in tannins.

If you don't want to take Spatone first thing in the morning you can also take it at night before you go to bed.

During pregnancy you can safely take up to two sachets per day to keep your iron levels topped up. Either take two sachets together or one in the morning and one in the evening - whatever suits your lifestyle best!
