Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin which helps to protect the body's cells against oxidative stress. It also helps to restore damaged vitamin E in the body. The skin contains a large amount of vitamin C, but this amount decreases with age. Vitamin C is necessary for the skin and the rest of the body's tissue to maintain its normal functions. Ultraviolet light from solar radiation also reduces the skin's content of vitamin C. In addition, vitamin C is important for teeth and bones.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin which contribute to the protection of the body’s cells against oxidative stress, which is partly responsible for the normal aging of the cells.

Biotin
Biotin, formerly called vitamin B8, is a water soluble vitamin which functions as a coenzyme and contributes to the body's normal energy metabolism. Biotin helps to maintain normal skin, mucous membranes, and hair.

Zinc
Zinc is an essential mineral with antioxidant properties. It takes part in about 200 different enzyme functions in the body where it contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair, nails and vision. The skin contains six percent of the body's total amount of zinc and is incorporated as a stabilizing factor in skin cell membranes. Zinc is required for the formation of DNA, and the proteins used to produce hair cells and is also needed for the cell division leading to the formation of nails.

Selenium
Selenium is an essential mineral and an antioxidant, which contribute to the protection of the body's cells against oxidative stress. Selenium contributes to the maintenance of hair and nails. Hair and nails consists predominantly of keratin which is a protein. It is formed by cells called keratinocytes, which can not perform their function without a number of selenium containing selenoproteins. The selenium content in Evelle is the patented Danish selenium yeast, SelenoPrecise.

Extract of Deep-Sea Fish
Extract of Deep-sea fish contains natural chondroitin sulfate and collagen. Chondroitin and collagen forms a structural part of cartilage, and skin.

Horsetail extract
The herb Horsetail is a rich source of organically bound silicon, an important trace element. The tissues that contain the largest concentrations of silicon are skin, connective tissue, tendons, and arteries. Horsetail contributes to the maintenance of skin, hair and nails.

Tomato extract
A rich and bioavailable source of lycopene, a plant pigment and carotenoid. Lycopen is related to betacarotene. Lycopene is a bioavailable substance that belongs naturally in tissue and plasma in the human body.

Bluberry extract
Contains a natural coloring agent called anthocyanin and the substance pterostilben. Blueberries can help to maintain healthy eyes by acting as an antioxidant, and also through its effect on the blood vessels.

French maritime pine extract (pycnogenol®)
A patented extract from the bark of French maritime pine. The extract contains a unique mix of water-soluble, natural bioflavonoids and fruit acids that helps to protect the skin cells from damage from oxidative stress and promote a good blood circulation.
