Pharma Nord Bio-Vision

Bio Vision eyecare supplement from Pharma Nord contains Zinc and Beta Carotene, a precursor of vitamin A, which contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. Lutein and bilberry-derived anthocyanosides are also included. Bio Vision contains antioxidants, vitamin C, E and A, which contribute to the protection of cell constituents against oxidative stress caused by free radicals. Such free radicals are formed within the body as a normal by-product of metabolic processes. Bio-Vision supplement is a combination of nutrients in bio-available form that are blister-packed to protect them from the atmosphere.

How does Bio-Vision work?

Tissues comprising the eye (lens, retina) are vulnerable to damage by free radicals. Free radicals are oxidizing chemical species which are generated as toxic by-products of normal cell metabolism, as well as exposure to ultra violet light. Antioxidant substances present in BioVision protect against such free radical induced damage within the eye.Thus carotenoids, which are responsible for the red and yellow colouration of some fresh fruit and vegetables, have powerful antioxidant properties.

In addition, beta carotene is a precursor of vitamin A, the role of which in night vision is well known, and lutein is a protective component of the macula, the light sensitive central region of the retina involved in vision targeting and colour perception.

Pharma Nord recommend 2 tablets to be taken daily or as directed by a physician.
