Ortis Beneflora Probiotic Granules

Beneflora is a probiotic powder that has been specifically formulated to help replenish good bacteria in the gut. Beneflora contains 6 strains of good bacteria, Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium plus Fructo Oligosaccharides.

Beneflora contains its own food source and so does not have to rely on food present in the intestinal flora.

Our gut contains approximately 400 different species of bacteria. A healthy digestive system depends on a beneficial balance of friendly bacteria. These "good" bacteria work in harmony with the body, helping to maintain a favourable balance between good and harmful bacteria.

However, this delicate bacterial balance can be easily disrupted by antibiotics, aspirin, bacterial or viral infections, poor diet, stress or lifestyle changes such as holidays. 

Beneflora is suitable for Vegetarians, Diabetics, Lactose Intolerant and Children over 12.

One sachet used daily in juice or water.

The powder may be eaten directly from the sachet or preferably mixed with your favourite food or cold drink. A seven day course every month is recommended to help maintain a balanced intestinal flora. However, if your intestinal flora is heavily damaged (after a course of antibiotics, for example) it is recommended to take Beneflora for 35 days without interruption. Flatulence may occur, but will disappear after a few days.
