Lamberts® Glucommanan provides a full 1000mg per 2 capsules. We specifically use a highly refined, standardised extract which is the highest grade available, as opposed to a yeast derived form.

Glucomannan is a form of soluble fibre derived from the root of the Amorphophallus Konjac plant, hence why some food supplements are also referred to as Konjac. This perennial plant is native to south East Asia and the konjac root has been used for centuries to make traditional based foods such as noodles. However the latest research surrounding its contribution to the reduction of body weight in conjunction with an energy-restricted diet has caught the media’s attention and led to a rapid increase in its popularity as a food supplement.
