BioCare Vitamin B1

Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is a water-soluble B vitamin which contributes to normal energy yielding metabolism, normal psychological, heart and nervous system function. BioCare Vitamin B1 is yeast-free and provides 100mg per capsule.

It is essential for normal growth and development and helps to maintain the health of mucous membranes such as those lining the intestines. Vitamin B1 deficiency can lead to Beriberi. Alcohol may increase requirements for Vitamin B1. Vitamin B1 is intricately involved with the function of other B-vitamins. It is not normally supplemented without the concomitant supplementation of other B-vitamins.
