BioCare Female Multinutrient

FemGuard® is a comprehensive, high potency multinutrient designed to support female health throughout the menopause. It contains high ratios of nutrients that are supportive of female hormonal balance, bone density and cardiovascular health.

BioCare FemGuard is a new multi vitamin and mineral complex, introduced to the BioCare range in 2003, specifically designed to suit the needs of women of all ages. FemGuard also includes grapeseed and bilberry extract. Unlike most multi vitamin complexes, FemGuard does not contain vitamin A so is NOT specifically contraindicated for females during pregnancy.

• B vitamins, including B3, B6, and B12, vitamin C and magnesium contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system
• Pantothenic acid is essential for metabolism of steroid hormones
• Vitamin D, calcium and manganese contribute to the maintenance of normal bones
• Selenium and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal hair and nails
• Vitamins A, C and D contribute to the normal function of the immune system
• Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress
• Bilberry, grapeseed and green tea are a good source of flavonoids, which have antioxidant properties

One capsule taken three times daily with food, or as professionally directed.

Long term intake of amounts greater than 10mg vitamin B6 daily may lead to mild tingling and numbness
Long term intakes of amounts greater than 25mg of zinc daily may lead to anaemia
