BioCare Concentrated Cranberry

Concentrated Cranberry provides a high level of the active components of fresh cranberry with added lactic acid bacteria and vitamin C to help support the immune system. This vacuum packed powder mixes with water.

The number one therapeutic use of Cranberry Berries is in the treatment of cystitis and other urinary infections. The compounds D-mannose and hippuric acid contained in Cranberries inhibit the growth of certain bacteria in the urinary tract, at least in part by inhibiting the adherence of these bacteria to the walls of the tract. Most cranberry juice is pasteurised to prevent it from spoilage. The best way of preventing spoilage without having to pasteurise is by vacuum-packing. Combined in this formulation with the beneficial bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus.
