BioCare BioAcidophilus (Probiotic - 10 billion per capsule)

BioAcidophilus is a high potency blend of the LAB4 complex of live probiotic bacteria. Each capsule contains 10 billion viable bacteria, 20 billion per daily intake. 

Bio-Acidophilus is a high potency probiotic supplement containing 8 billion viable cells of probiotic bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus (Strains CLT-60 and CUL-21) and Bifidobacterium bifidum (Strains CUL-17 and CUL-20) (if stored correctly). Provided in convenient vegetable capsules. Under normal circumstances L. acidophilus and B. bifidum, mixed together, either in capsule or powder form would compete with one another. BioCare utilise a unique MicroCell microencapsulation process to overcome this problem. Microencapsulation of the individual organisms means that L. acidophilus and B. bifidum can be combined in the same capsule or powder without any competitive antagonism. Both bacteria remain perfectly compatible. In a base of fructooligosaccharides (FOS). FOS, when ingested provide a specific food source for the growth of friendly intestinal bacteria.
