BioCare Bifidobacterium Bifidum (Probiotic)

A powder containing 4 billion live probiotic bacteria, which are one of the predominant bacteria found in the lower part of the small intestine. 

Bifidobacterium bifidum contains 4 billion viable cells of Bifidobacterium bifidum per 1 gram (if stored correctly). Bifidobacterium are the predominant bacteria in the lower part of the small intestine and they exert a controlling influence over the overall balance of gut flora. Together with the Bacteriodes group they also make up the dominant bacteria in the large intestine. In a base of fructooligosaccharides (FOS). FOS, when ingested provide a specific food source for the growth of friendly intestinal bacteria.
