Psyllium Husk (Plantago psyllium) 400mg pure powdered husk

Psyllium Husk may help maintain and support:

A bulking herb with high levels of fibre which becomes highly gelatinous with liquid. The effect when taken is to swell and draw fluid into the husks. Many find the herb useful when incorporated into a calorie controlled diet.

HABITAT AND CULTIVATION
The three species that produce Psyllium husks and seeds grow variously throughout southern Europe, north Africa and Asia, especially India, and are widely cultivated. The fruit which contains small pinkish or brown elliptical seeds is harvested in August or September.

Take 2 capsules twice daily taken with a full glass of water. Children between 6 and 12, half adult dose.

The seeds contain high levels of essential fatty acids:
40% linoleic acid; 30% -linolenic acid
