Amphora Aromatics Sesame Oil

Sesame Oil is a fantastic oil to use in massage thanks to its many beneficial properties.

It contains Vitamin E which is crucial for healthy skin as well as Vitamin B6. It also contains magnesium, copper, calcium, iron and zinc. Copper can help to provide relief for rheumatoid arthritis. Magnesium supports vascular and respiratory health. Calcium may help to prevent osteoporosis, migraine and PMS.

Because it's naturally effective against skin bacteria and also an anti-inflammatory it is often recommended for use on younger skins although it's suitable for all ages and skin types. It's slightly greasier than other base oils so is often blended with a less greasy carrier oil such as Sweet Almond or Grapeseed.

Known as the Queen of Oils, Amphora's Sesame Oil is deodorised for increased comfort for yourself and your clients. Traditionally used in Ayurvedic and Indian Head Massage.

Sesame oil is traditionally used in Ayurvedic traditions for oil pulling, for oral health. 

Sesame is perfect for use with any essential oil which is suitable for use on the skin. Dilution rates vary from oil to oil so you should always check the guidelines for each oil before use. Additionally it may be included in blends with other more expensive carrier or vegetable oils to lessen the cost of using them.

Widely used as a carrier or base oil for the application of essential oils in massage (can also be applied as a massage oil without essential oils). Use in the making of a hair mask or natural moisturiser. Can also be used as it is for an all natural moisturiser or oil cleanser.
