Amphora Aromatics Orange (Sweet) Essential Oil

Orange Essential Oil is also great to use with one of our wide range of vapourisers or burners.

It can help to protect against infections, colds and flu, reduce nervous tension and stress and help to create a feeling of calmness and warmth. You may find it helpful to relax active children at bed time as well as bringing a lovely, fresh citrussy fragrance to your house.

It's also a great tonic for the skin - blended with one of our carrier oils or base creams it will refresh and detoxify and is especially good for dull and oily skin.

Historical Background
The orange tree was originally a native of the Far East, particularly China and India. It was not used medicinally in Europe until the late 17th century, as it was rare and expensive. In Chinese medicine the dried peel is used to treat coughs, colds and anorexia.

The volatile oil obtained by expression from the fresh peel of the ripe
fruit of the sweet orange, Citrus aurantium var. dulcis.
Fresh fruity scent, uplifting, energising.
Reviving, stimulating, uplifting. Good for room fragrancing.

You may find that orange blends particularly well with lavender, neroli, clary sage, myrrh, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove.

Dilute to 5% or less in a carrier oil before skin application.
