Amphora Aromatics Neroli Abs Diluted (5%)

The beautifully citrus-floral scent of Neroli is loved by many; its a great oil to use in both masculine and feminine blends if you're thinking of using it in perfumery or bespoke soaps.

This extraction consists of 2/3 distilled Neroli blossom and 1/3 absolute extracted Neroli blossom. This is because the neat absolute has a harsh note on its own, but softens down well in neroli oil to give an agreeable bouquet.

Neroli Diluted Absolute is a great oil for aromatherapy skincare thanks to its capability in stimulating cell growth.

This can help to regenerate and rejuvenate the skin. It can help to fight stretch marks and broken capillaries and can also help to prevent scarring.

It's a good all-round skin booster and may also be useful for indigestion, diorrhea, insomnia, headaches and nervous tension.

Amphora Aromatics have pre-diluted this to 5% in Grapeseed Oil, which is rich in Vitamin E and Fatty Acids, so you can use it straight out of the bottle in massage or in a vaporiser. It absorbs very quickly in to the skin and is a preferred cosmetic ingredient for damaged and stressed tissues because it possesses regenerative and restructuring qualities which allow better controlled re-hydration of the skin.

  • Used in perfumery: relaxing, aphrodisiac, helps to wind down.
  • Bactericidal, fungicidal, deodorant, moisturising, rejuvenating, stress reliever, strengthening and restoring oil
  • Beneficial to the skin, stretch marks and mature skin especially. Useful for all skin types especially dry or sensitive skin. Use with mandarin to help stretch marks.
  • Helps with PMT and the menopause, due to its calming quality . Helps with problems of emotional origin.

Historical Background

Named for the putative discoverer Anna Mariade la Treinoille, Princess of Nerole in Italy (1670). Pale yellow oil from the flowers of the bitter orange tree were used in bridal bouquets to calm nervousness before the couple retired to the marriage bed.

Properties
This consists of 2/3 distilled Neroli blossom and 1/3 absolute extracted Neroli blossom. This is because the neat absolute has a harsh note on its own, but softens down well in Neroli oil to give a much more agreeable bouquet.

You may find that Neroli blends especially well with floral oils especially rose and jasmine, as well as chamomile, geranium, coriander, clary sage, lavender, ylang ylang, coriander and the citrus oils.
