Amphora Aromatics Macadamia Nut Oil

Macadamia trees are native to Madagascar and Australia, and grow from 50 to 60 feet high with long, narrow leaves and clusters of pink or white flowers.

The round, hard-shelled nuts grow in clusters and are covered with husks that split when they are ripe.

Macadamia Nut Oil is easily-absorbed and a fantastic skin conditioner. It is especially beneficial for dry, mature and wrinkle-prone skin as it has high amounts of the same palmitoleic acid found in the sebum of humans. As skin gets older it produces less sebum making Macadamia Nut Oil perhaps the perfect oil for ageing skin. It is readily absorbed leaving the skin smooth, but not greasy.  It also has value in reducing fine lines so is good for facial massages. Works very well on its own but is even better when combined with pure essential oils.

This oil has a beautiful golden yellow colour, lovely texture and is highly moisturising and nourishing to the skin.

An excellent treatment and conditioner, especially for dry skin. Helps to promote extra skin elasticity and helps to reduce stretch marks, scar tissue, chapped and sun burned skin.

Either use pure or in a 50/50 Rosehip blend, which gives a finer consistency. The oil is highly resistant to oxidation and so has a long shelf life.
