Comfrey Infused Oil has astringent properties.

It can help to soothe bruises. Research indicates that comfrey contains allantoin, a cell proliferant that helps to repair damaged tissue. Rosmarinic acid and other phenolic acids are also found in comfrey - these help with inflammation. Particularly useful for teenage skin problems and for slow healing wounds.

Historical Background
An indigenous European plant, Comfrey was known to the Greek physician Dioscorides in the first century A.D. who wrote about it in his Materia Medica.

Properties
