Amphora Aromatics Celery Seed Essential Oil

Celery Seed essential oil has long been recognised for its ability to ease digestive and urinary problems.

Blend with a carrier oil and gently massage in to the abdomen to ease flatulence, constipation and diarrhea. To ease the symptoms of cystitis a hot compress over the bladder area can work well, while to ease the problems of kidney infections and urine retention a hot compress over the kidney can be effective. As with any conditions like these medical attention should also be sought - especially if symptoms persist. You may also find it soothing during menstruation.

It can also be soothing when used as a muscle and joint rub and can help the body to rid itself of accumulated toxins so can be good to combat cellulitis and gout. Celery Seed is sometimes used in aromatherapy to help reduce water retention.

When burned or vaporised Celery Seed may help to stimulate the metabolism and so can be helpful for fatigue and exhaustion.
