Amphora Aromatics Calendula Infused Oil


Calendula Infused Oil is the extract of Calendula infused in Sweet Almond oil.

It's a particularly soothing oil which can be very useful in calming chapped, rough, dry or scaly skin thanks to it's anti-inlammatory and astringent properties.

It can be used for nursing mothers to soothe cracked nipples and may also help to calm and improve cradle cap.

It's a great base oil to choose when creating a massage treatment for many skin problems thanks to the soothing, softening and healing properties inherent in Calendula. Can be used on its own but is even better when combined with essential oils.

  • Antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal
  • A soothing and softening oil, great for chapped or broken skin and gentle enough to treat cracked nipples and cradle cap
  • An extract of the flowers of Calendula officinalis L (Fam Asteraceae) infused in Sweet Almond Oil in the ratio of herb:oil 1:10

Perfect for use with any essential oil which is suitable for use on the skin. Dilution rates vary between different essential oil so you should always check the guidelines for each oil before use. Additionally it may be included in blends with other more expensive carrier or vegetable oils to lessen the cost of using them.
