Amphora Aromatics Benzoin Essential Oil

It is the balsamic resin from benzoin (a small tree).

Benzoin is a fixative. Used as a natural preservative in creams.

Comforting and warming as a massage, especially when feeling you need a' pick me up'. A comforting, warming and muscle ease oil.

Useful as a steam inhalant, especially in winter. 

Soothes cracked skin and excellent for use in gardening handcreams. In colder months Benzoin will require gentle warming before use.

Its sweet, warm and rich aroma blends well with many other oils, but particularly well with Bergamot, Frankincense & Juniper. 

Dilute to 5% or less in a carrier oil before skin application.

Main chemical components are benzoic, cinnamic acids, benzyl benzoate, benzoic aldehyde, vanillin and coniferyl benzoate.
Propylene glycol, Styrax benzoin Resin Extract (plus allergens)
