Lobelia Compound
A herbal remedy for the symptomatic relief of coughs, blocked sinuses and catarrh
Lobelia Compound is a unique formulation of three herbs (Lobelia, Gum Ammoniacum and Squill) known in traditional and orthodox medicine for their ability to relieve the symptoms of coughs, catarrh and blocked sinuses.
"Lobeliae herba" is listed in the British Pharmacopoeia and has been used in orthodox medicine for respiratory tract disorders for decades. Squill is an effective expectorant which assists in dislodging mucous responsible for obstruction and discomfort. Gum Ammoniacum also causes expectoration but with a calming influence to help subdue coughing spasms.
One tablet swallowed with water three times daily can be taken as long as necessary until symptoms are relieved. Lobelia compound is suitable for children over five years old at the dose stated on the label.
