Mag 2:1 Cal contains the minerals magnesium and calcium in a ratio of 2 parts magnesium to 1 part calcium. These minerals are bound to succinic acid to form bioavailable succinates.
Succinates are readily absorbable and utilisable forms of calcium and magnesium. Succinic acid is an organic acid that is also involved in the Kreb's (Energy producing) cycle.
